Our Board members represent different aspects of the mission community. Many have participated in our programs or have been partners in mission.
Bro. Bede Baldry, FSC
Br. Bede is a De La Salle Christian Brother. He was missioned to Kenya and since returning to the United States has been active in justice and peace work, including ministry to the Native American Indians. He now serves in leadership for his congregation.
Brian served in Peru with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps International, is a freelance writer, and currently serves as a Communications Specialist with the Midwest Jesuits.
Kelli is a Program Manager with HIRED, an organization that works to help individuals become self-sufficient through meaningful work. Kelli served with the Incarnate Word Missionaries in Chimbote, Peru.
Fr. John Nuelle, MS
Fr. Jack, a La Salette Missionary, served for over 30 years in Madagascar. He recently served as the Executive Director of the United States Catholic Mission Association and currently serves in leadership for his congregation.
Currently Co-creator of Calm Clarity, a mindful leadership training social enterprise, Gina served as the Director of Cabrini Mission Corps and in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with the sisters of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
Currently a Program Officer at the Fetzer Institute in Kalamazoo, MI, an organization whose “work is about helping build the spiritual foundation for a loving world.” Michelle served with the Claretian Volunteer and Lay Missionary Program in Chicago, IL and Guatemala.
Sr. Rose Elizabeth Terrell, OSU
An Ursuline Sister of Cleveland who served in a rural mountain town in El Salvador for 11 years, Sr. Rose has been serving as the Community Partnership Coordinator for an inner city school since returning from mission. She joined the board of FMTM in 2016.
Sr. Mary Jo Welter, SSND
A School Sister of Notre Dame, Sister Mary Jo was a missioner for 13 years, serving in Kenya, Ghana and The Gambia. She presently serves as director of Sacred Space Ministry in Mankato, MN. Sister Mary Jo has been on the board for six years.
